When: MARCH 21, at 12:15 (SRC sanctuary and LMC Fellowship Hall-VOTE WHERE YOU ARE A MEMBER).
Who: All church members present for the vote.
Votes will be counted after voting is concluded and the results will be announced immediately. Child care is available at SRC. At LMC children will come to the Fellowship Hall at 12:15 and will be dismissed after the child care workers vote. Below is the information and choices that will be on the ballot:
Considering the missional purposes behind the formation of the Christ UMC and Shepherd's Community UMC co-operative parish I prayerfully believe that the best way to live out God's mission is to:
□ Recommend to the Cabinet of the Florida Annual Conference to dissolve the cooperative parish and live out our call as distinct congregations.
□ Take the next step toward merging the two congregations by establishing a committee that will develop a comprehensive plan of merger. This plan will be voted upon at a Church Conference on or before January 2011.
